ASA brothers and sisters,

Last Sunday we had a fantastic meeting in my book,it was very informative as far in pertaining to the direction of the ministry as a body.We came to a conclusion that we are going to strive to plan our agenda quarterly (3 months in advance).

Brother Student Minister Jeffrery agreed that we could start this Sunday...I'm going to use the word replicating what Chicago does with the Hip Hop Detox !! I'm extra excited. We will have to meet with Sis.Renee to engineer structure for the different performances, in accord with the ministers staff, for the rotation of speakers, performances etc.I think it is a great opportunity to invite people who have conscious lyrics who may want to promote their music, but at the same time during the meeting they get a dosage of these life giving teachings, not to forget we also get to hear, and see these talented, gifted treasures in our mosque!!

We also came to the conclusion, because of the youth conference, and hip hop summit, that we should meet every Sunday after the meeting so we can all be well informed, about what is taking place with our youth in all aspects, and areas.I thank Bro.Andre for his innovative ideas about the hip hop summit.I know the summit with the youth conference will with Allah's help be a great success.

Bro.Fattah the sisters thought your Drill seminar was a great idea, but thought it would be a quarterly event since you have to reserve recreation centers, etc, so we most definitely have to put it on the agenda then go to work getting in the trenches to make it manifest bro.

We need to have a permanent print out of forthcoming meetings, events etc pertaining to our youth, also the youth meetings on Sunday will start back up in April on the first Sunday of the month, once again I apologize for the inconsistency on my behalf.

Lets keep the spirit moving, and start building with each other on NOI DALLAS (meaning lets start discussing different topics, why not dispense some ideas in the air..I'm just saying LOL)

your brother and servant,
